Hello Everyone
How are things going back home I hear lots of things are happening. Things are crazy here, we had a goal of seven baptisms for this last transfer, and half way through the transfer we thought that we could augment that number to ten. But a few people fell through so we only had 8. Transfers came and went, which is why I am writing here on Monday and not Tuesday. I am going to stay here in Venâncio Aires. I am excited about that we did our weekly planning and monthly planning this morning and, if things go well we should have ten baptisms this month. The area here is awesome and everyone loves the missionaries. It will be a good area to spend Christmas. I completely forgot about thanksgiving, but we did splits that day with Elders from Rio Pardo, so I had an American and he forgot too. Until that night at nine thirty after our day was done, he remembered so I broke out a bottle of strong grape juice that I was saving for a special occasion and he had just bought some cuca(a fruity cake). We ate and joked around till ten. It was pretty intense. Things are moving, my companion and I get along fine but we don't really like each other. Its crazy the ward loves us and asks if we are excited, and we really are but we not friends at all just exist together. Its really cool to tell people that I think I will get transferred, because I really thought I would, and to have them tell me I am not allowed to. Or the Branch President say that he would call President Whisenant and ask for me to stay. That member that I talked about a few weeks ago is doing awesome and doing everything he can to get back to church. There is a down side however, its very very hot. Saturday we had to take three showers because we sweat so much. Thanksgiving it was 41 degrees. Or in Fahrenheit 105.7. I was at one door that day waiting for someone to answer, and for some reason I started to sweat more, it was so bad that I couldn't see for three or four minutes, yesterday it rained a little which cooled it down a bit, but it also threw humidity into the unbearable stage. But we are getting used to it, and today is better I think its only 32 degrees. I'm not sure at elven It was 28. Lets see what else can I talk about...........................................not sure ............................................................................ Ya basically I think that it, I think Jaciane will kill me, she is very timid, and I told her that most likely I was leaving and that she needed to write something for me, so I left my journal with her last night and she still thinks I am going, so when we show up there today and she wrote and I am staying. Não sei. The language is good eu tenho muitos coisas ainda que precisso aprender mas eu posso falar quase qualquer coisa que eu quero. I'm not sure when I will stop reading things in English and start everything in Portuguese, I should do it this week. Have a great week, write emails, things in my emails will be lots more interesting if you ask questions or if I have something to respond to. I would also like the address of Barns and Noble as well as mountain comfort. As well as Jesse and Nate, mission homes, box addresses if you don't have the normal.
